Puravida demo / Caldey Island Relay / Cancer Support event. Loads of demo kit from North & Fanatic plus Simmer and Starboard. Not quite enough to plane so tried a Fanatic Allwave SUP 9ft 2in. Sailed nicely with 5.7m and turned tight for length - must have a fair amount of rocker. Then tried paddling it - surprised me how easy to keep straight. Would be a good purchase to use when wind too light for regular board - would be good fun in small waves. HRS construction surprisingly light for a big board.

Also tried an 8ft 3in - much harder to make progress with a paddle (at my skill level) so I think 8ft 11 wold be as small as I would go initially.
